Whereas the Channeller Adept teaches a wilder restraint and control over the Essence he wields, the teachings of Al-Kanar delve into a wilder's ability to tap and alter magic at the point of use using metamagic, awaken innate magical abilities, and how to push oneself beyond their limits and conjure up truly frightning and dangerous displays of Essence-fed magic.

This prestige class exists at the center of the secret society called the Kanar Ashram, and passes down the millenia-old secrets of the now banished Tulaire Al-Kanar to the most loyal of his disciples.
